Tri2Endure is made up of Ben Harlow and Jon Cooper and our aim is to push ourselves to the very limit of physical exhaustion by completing a series of ambitious and challenging events throughout 2017 in order to raise money for 3 charities close to our hearts.
We will be organising and participating in everything from Obstacle Course Races (OCR's) to the ultimate test of endurance and stamina, an ironman distance triathlon.
The full list of events that we plan to carryout are as follows:
7km Winter OCR
28km OCR (Completed September 2016)
Brighton marathon
an Ultra marathon (100km run)
A channel distance pool swim in under a week
Faversham to Paris bike ride in 24 hours
A sprint distance triathlon
Leeds Castle olympic distance triathlon
Pembrokeshire Ironman triathlon
The first charity chosen is the Salou Foundation, A charity that supports the adult King’s College Cystic Fibrosis ward and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. The Salou Foundation was set up in memory of Sarah Fannin, a dear friend of Ben who sadly lost her fight with Cystic Fibrosis in 2015. The foundation has been set up by her brother Paul and they are doing an amazing job carrying out short, medium and long term projects to help those fighting Cystic Fibrosis.

The second charity chosen is Cancer Research UK. Like many others, both of us have lost family and friends to this disease and even know people going through treatment at the moment. We hope to do our bit to support the great work they continue to do.

The third and final charity we would like to support is the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance. KSS Air Ambulance are a helicopter emergency medical service charity and rely on donations to continue their amazing work. In 2016 they have flown over 3016 missions and with our support they will continue to save lives all over the south east.
