Fred sadly passed away on 24th June following complication after a knee replacement. Fred was a loving Dad to eight children, eighteen grandchildren and twelve great-granchildern. Fred’s three passions were his family, athletics and his garden. He enjoyed all of these up until he sadly passed away.
Fred’s family would like flowers from immediate family only and donations to the Salou Foundation (SF) instead of flowers. The SF was set up by Fred’s grandson Paul following the sudden death of his sister Sarah who sadly lost her fight with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) three years ago.
All donations to the Salou Foundation will help raise funds to help others who have the daily struggle with this disease. All the money raised in memory of Fred will go towards funding a new Cystic Fibrosis patient room at Kings College Hospital where like Sarah, spend most of their time when they need vital treatment to improve their quality of life. 100% of your donation will go to funding the New CF room
The Salou Foundation so far has made many differences to the Adult CF Ward at King's College Hospital and with your support we can continue this.
